This 10 days safari is for those who have a short time for their safari and would like to sample what Kenya and Tanzania has to offer. It’s a quick safari visiting two parks in Kenya and two in Tanzania. You also get to visit Naivasha in Kenya for your final day in Kenya. Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Masai Mara Game reserve and the view of Mt. Kilimanjaro while in Amboseli are some for the safaris highlights

Day 1: On arrival, you will be transferred to your overnight city Hotel. Your guide will brief you on your itinerary and time permitting; there are optional safari excursions that can be organized. Meals and overnight:  Eka Hotel.

Day 2: You will be picked by your driver guide for a day of exploration of Amboseli National Park. You will get a chance to share the terrain with some of the world’s most elusive animals.  The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species, and its other attractions include opportunities to meet the Masai Tribe’s people.  On a clear day, you’ll also have spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world sweeping across the Kenya-Tanzania border. Day 3: You will have a morning game drive before proceeding to the Kenya/Tanzania border crossing of Namanga. Upon reaching the Namanga Border Crossing, make a quick stop to switch between Kenyan and Tanzanian guides and vehicles before continuing on your safari. You will meet your Tanzanian guide who will take you to Ngorongoro and onward with you Tanzania Safari. Lunch will be in Arusha town. On arrival in Ngorongoro Highlands, there will be optional activities available to you. They may include: nature walks, cultural village visits, a hike to Endoro waterfalls, bike tours, coffee plantation tours and more. We have included a cultural village tour in your safari. Day 4: You will visit Ngorongoro Crater with picnic lunch boxes for a full day of game viewing. Ngorongoro is one of the world recognized wildlife conservation areas in Tanzania. From your lodge, its approximately 20 to 30 minute drive towards the Ngorongoro Park Gate and another 20 minutes to reach the crater rim itself. The crater is roughly 20 kilometers wide and some 2000 feet deep. The crater floor has a highly concentration of wildlife. Over 20000 mammals call the crater home, including some of the only remaining black rhinos in the world.  The crater floor also boasts one of the highest carnivore densities in the world including large prides of lions. After the tour, you will drive back to your lodge for overnight: Meals and overnight: Tloma Lodge (Full Board)

Day 5: You will drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the famous plains of the Serengeti. En route, you will have a stop at Olduvai Gorge. The massive Olduvai Gorge or Oldupai Gorge is often referred to as “The Cradle of Mankind.”  Beginning in the eastern Serengeti plains as a result from millions of years of natural erosion, this gorge boasts a steep-sided ravine that cuts and stretches its way through the Great Rift Valley along eastern Africa.  You will have your picnic lunch after the tour of this historical marvel. Later continue to Serengeti with game drive en route to your overnight lodge. Meals and overnight: Serengeti Serena Lodge (Full Board)

Day 6: Your African adventure begins with an exploration game drive through Tanzania’s oldest and most recognized National Park. The park offers the most expansive game viewing in Tanzania. You will have an array of wildlife from predators to prey, great herds of grazing herbivores trying their survival tactic with cunning packs of carnivores, it’s a wild theatrical of life.  For wildlife photographers, this is the place where your dream unfolds before your eye. During the Wildebeest Migration, this land is changed to a spectacle. Lions, Leopards and other carnivores trying to outwit the large heard of herbivore’s; Wildebeest, Topis, Zebras among many more. Meals and overnight: Serengeti Serena Lodge (Full Board)

Day 7: You will drive to the Isebania border where you will meet up with your Kenya safari guide and continue into Kenya to the Masai Mara. This is a full day drive which will includes game viewing in Serengeti and Masai Mara as well as a scenic drive through rural East Africa. After the border crossing, continue on to the Masai Mara Game Reserve as you enjoy game viewing on the way to your camp. On arrival, you will check in and enjoy uninterrupted view from your tents as you enjoy the evening. Meals and overnight: Karen Blixen Camp. (Full Board)

Day 8: You will head out early this morning for a full day game drive returning to the camp later in the evening. You will have picnic lunch box. The size of the Masai Mara Game Reserve and the high concentration of wildlife provides with the best opportunity for wildlife viewing. All the African Big 5, which includes the African Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard, Lion and Rhino are represented here. Numerous other species of bird and wildlife inhabit this dynamic park. This is an exciting game viewing adventure.  You have an option of having a balloon fighting early morning which is celebrated with a champagne breakfast on landing or a Village visit for nature walk.  Meals and overnight: Karen Blixen Camp. Day 9: After a leisurely breakfast, you will depart with a leisurely drive to Naivasha.  En route, you will have stops for picture and refreshments as well as buying souvenirs. On arrival in Naivasha, You will check in at your lodge for lunch and later a boat ride in Lake Naivasha and a Crescent Island tour. Other optional activities include; hiking, a trip excursion to Mt Longonot, Hell’s Gate, cycling or simply walk along the lakeshore and relaxes at your lodge.

Day 10: Depending on your departure flight, you will leave Naivasha either in the morning or later in the day for a drive to Nairobi. In Nairobi, You will have a farewell party before a transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
